About

Lingcod is a voracious bottom predator unique to the U.S. West Coast, with a large mouth, sharp teeth and highly variable coloration. It ambushes prey around rocky reefs and is a favorite boat target from Washington and Oregon to Alaska, mainly in spring through autumn. Its firm white flesh makes it both a prized food fish and a rewarding catch.
