About
The common carp is among the stocked freshwater fish of Hong Kong's reservoirs, a stocky bottom-feeder with two pairs of barbels. It grows wary with size and fights with real power and stamina, so corn, bread or paste baits fished on the bottom are the most reliable approach. It can be caught year-round and still feeds in cooler weather, making it a classic reservoir target.
